Shipping Returns, Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. General

This policy applies to purchases made through Hommage at www.hommagestore.com. Please review it carefully before placing an order.

By placing an order with us, you agree that this policy forms part of the terms governing your purchase, subject always to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not place an order.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

Processing times are separate from shipping times. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available.

Orders containing different product categories may be produced and shipped separately and may therefore arrive in separate packages.


2. Jewelry — United States Only

Our jewelry collection is currently available for purchase and delivery only to addresses within the United States.


Free U.S. Shipping

Standard shipping on jewelry orders within the United States is free.

Jewelry orders are fulfilled from our U.S. fulfillment center and shipped using a tracked delivery service.

Any expedited shipping options, where available, will be displayed at checkout.

Delivery dates shown at checkout or after dispatch are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.


Free 30-Day Returns

We want you to feel confident ordering from us.

Eligible jewelry purchased for delivery within the United States may be returned free of charge within 30 days of delivery.

Returned jewelry must be unworn, unused, in its original condition and returned with its original packaging.

There is no restocking fee for eligible jewelry returns.

Please use the return label provided by us. We cannot reimburse shipping costs for returns sent independently using another shipping method unless we have agreed to this in advance.


Return Inspection & Refund

Returned jewelry is inspected after it reaches our U.S. fulfillment center.

Once the return has been received and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Items showing signs of wear, use, alteration or damage occurring after delivery may not qualify for a voluntary return.

Any paid expedited outbound shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or otherwise required by applicable law.

Nothing in our voluntary return policy limits your rights if an item is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.


3. Art Prints & Posters — Made Individually for You

Made for You, Not for Stock

Every art print is produced individually after you place your order, using the artwork, size and format you selected.

We do not keep finished posters in stock.

Producing prints only when they are ordered helps us avoid unnecessary finished inventory, overproduction and waste while allowing us to produce closer to actual customer demand.

Posters are shipped unframed, unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page.


Poster Shipping

Whenever possible, we produce posters at a facility close to their final destination. This helps reduce unnecessary transportation and generally results in faster delivery.

Free standard shipping is available on poster orders of $59 or more to the following destinations:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • European Union Member States
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Brazil
  • Japan

Orders below $59 and orders to other supported destinations are charged the applicable shipping rate displayed before checkout.

Estimated poster delivery time is generally 3–6 business days after production, although production capacity, destination, local carriers, customs or other circumstances may affect delivery times.

Our international production network currently includes facilities in countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

Production locations may change depending on capacity, availability and destination. We therefore cannot guarantee that an order will always be produced in a particular country.


Poster Returns

Because every art print is individually produced specifically to fulfil your order, posters are not eligible for voluntary change-of-mind returns or exchanges.

This means that our complimentary 30-day return policy for jewelry does not apply to posters.

If your poster arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, that is not considered a change-of-mind return. Please contact us and we will make it right.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Customers who have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights under applicable local law should refer to the Statutory Consumer Rights section below.


Print Appearance & Cropping

Please consider the following before placing your order.

Colors displayed on phones, tablets and computer monitors can vary depending on screen technology, calibration, brightness and individual device settings. We therefore cannot guarantee an exact color match between a digital screen and the finished physical print. Reasonable variations of this kind are not considered defects.

Different print sizes may also use different width-to-height ratios. As a result, the visible crop of an artwork can vary slightly between sizes.

These normal differences are not considered defects unless the delivered print materially differs from the product that was ordered or advertised.

4. General Order & Delivery Terms

The following sections apply to all products unless otherwise stated.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If any product arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

For the fastest resolution, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery and providing your order number, a brief description of the issue and clear photographs of the product and its packaging.

Please keep the item and its packaging until we have reviewed your claim.

Where the claim is accepted, we will provide an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy at no additional cost to you.

The request to contact us within 48 hours helps us investigate production or carrier damage quickly. It does not reduce or replace mandatory statutory rights or legal guarantees that may apply to you.


Order Changes & Cancellations

We begin processing orders quickly, and made-to-order posters may enter production shortly after an order is placed.

If you made an error or would like to request a change or cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within one hour of placing your order, at:

We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after fulfillment or production has begun.

Once an order has been shipped, we generally cannot change or cancel the shipment.

This section concerns our voluntary cancellation process and does not affect mandatory statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights that may apply to your purchase.


Address Changes

Please check your shipping information carefully before submitting your order.

If you notice an error, contact us immediately.

Once an order has entered production, fulfillment or shipping, we may no longer be able to change the delivery address.

Where permitted by applicable law, additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer may be deducted from any applicable refund.


Delivery Delays

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Production delays, carrier disruptions, customs processing, weather conditions or other events outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect delivery.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights you may have if an order is not delivered within a legally required or specifically agreed period.


Missing or Undelivered Shipments

If your tracked order appears lost, has not arrived within the expected delivery period or shows an unexpected delivery status, please contact us so that we can investigate with the carrier.

We recommend reporting missing shipments as soon as possible and preferably within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.

This reporting period helps us investigate with the relevant carrier and does not restrict mandatory legal rights that may otherwise apply.


Refused & Undeliverable Shipments

If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, failure to collect the shipment, refusal of delivery or, where applicable, unpaid import charges, please contact us.

Where permitted by applicable law, actual non-refundable shipping, carrier, customs or return costs resulting from these circumstances may be deducted from the amount refunded.

Refusing delivery is not a substitute for properly requesting a return or exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.


Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.

After we issue a refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to credit the funds to your account.

Where currency conversion is involved, the final amount credited to your account may vary because of exchange-rate movements or fees applied by your bank or payment provider. Hommage does not control those exchange rates or third-party charges.


5. International Poster Orders

Import Duties, Taxes & Customs

Depending on the destination, production location and shipping method, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges or other fees.

Whenever possible, our art prints are produced close to their final destination through our international production network. This significantly reduces the need for cross-border shipping and the likelihood of additional customs charges.

For many destinations and shipping methods, including eligible economy shipments within or to the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, our production partners currently use Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping, meaning applicable import duties and taxes are handled as part of the delivery process.

However, local production and DDP delivery cannot be guaranteed for every product, destination or shipping method.

Where applicable duties, taxes or import charges are not collected or covered at checkout or through DDP delivery, they are the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected by the carrier or local customs authority before delivery.

Customs rules, thresholds and charges vary by country and may change. Additional documentation may also be required for customs clearance. We recommend checking with your local customs authority if you are uncertain about requirements that may apply to your order.

If required duties, taxes or customs charges are not paid, the shipment may be delayed, returned, held or, in some circumstances, disposed of by the carrier or customs authority.

Where an order is returned because required customs charges were not paid, actual non-refundable shipping, customs, handling or return costs may be deducted from any refund where permitted by applicable law.

If a shipment cannot be recovered or returned to us because customs or the carrier has disposed of it following the recipient's failure to complete required customs formalities or pay applicable charges, a refund may be reduced or unavailable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Local Production

To help reduce unnecessary international shipping and customs processing, our posters are produced through a global network of local and regional production partners whenever possible.

Production locations may vary depending on the product, destination, production capacity and availability.


6. Statutory Consumer Rights

Our voluntary return policy does not exclude, restrict or replace consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Customers in certain jurisdictions, including the European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom, may have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights for online purchases.

Where such a statutory right applies, we will honor it in accordance with applicable law.


Statutory Change-of-Mind Returns

Where applicable law gives you a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase, please contact us at info@hommagestore.com before returning the item.

For EU/EEA and UK consumers, the statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to applicable legal rules and exceptions.

Where permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal.

Our authorized return facility is located in Florida, United States.

International return shipping costs can therefore be significant. Please consider this before placing an order and contact us before sending anything back so that we can provide the correct return address and return instructions.

Please do not send returns to one of our poster production facilities. They are manufacturing locations and are not authorized customer return addresses.

The direct cost of returning defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied merchandise will not be charged to you where applicable law requires us to bear that cost.

Handling Returned Art Prints

If you may wish to exercise a statutory return right, please handle your print carefully and only to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect it.

We recommend handling prints with clean, dry hands and by the edges whenever possible.

Please do not mount, frame, tape, glue, fold or otherwise use the print if you intend to return it.

Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for any actual diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.

This can include, where applicable, damage such as creases, marks, fingerprints, surface damage, mounting marks or damaged edges caused by handling or use beyond reasonable inspection.

Any deduction will be based on the actual reduction in value and the requirements of applicable law.


Statutory Refunds

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, refunds will be made within the time required by applicable law.

Where legally permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Where required by law, reimbursement will include the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery option offered for the order. Additional costs resulting from an upgraded or expedited delivery method may not be refundable.

This 2-Year Limited Jewelry Warranty applies to new jewelry products purchased directly from Walkingdots LLC through www.hommagestore.com for personal, family or household use.

For purposes of this Limited Warranty, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Walkingdots LLC.

Warranty Period

This Limited Warranty lasts for two (2) years from the original date of purchase of the jewelry item covered by this Limited Warranty.

Proof of purchase, such as the original order number or other reasonable evidence of purchase from www.hommagestore.com, may be required in order to process a warranty claim.

Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to the original consumer purchaser and to a person who received the jewelry item as a gift from the original purchaser, provided that reasonable proof of the original purchase from www.hommagestore.com can be provided.

The warranty period begins on the original purchase date and is not extended or restarted when an item is given as a gift.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to jewelry purchased for resale, purchased second-hand, or purchased or obtained through a third-party seller.

What This Warranty Covers

During the warranty period, we warrant jewelry covered by this Limited Warranty against:

  • material manufacturing defects;
  • material defects in workmanship; and
  • premature or abnormal loss of the PVD gold-colored finish resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and care.

Our jewelry is designed to be water- and sweat-resistant for everyday wear. Normal exposure to water and perspiration does not by itself void this Limited Warranty.

For jewelry containing freshwater pearls or other natural materials, natural differences in shape, size, color, surface, texture or appearance are characteristics of the material and are not considered defects.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, surface wear or other changes resulting from ordinary use;
  • gradual fading, tarnishing, discoloration or other changes in appearance resulting from normal wear and aging where these are not caused by a defect in materials or workmanship;
  • loss, theft or accidental damage;
  • damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or improper handling;
  • damage, defects or changes resulting from alteration, modification, resizing, repair, replating, refinishing, polishing or other post-purchase servicing performed by the customer or a third party;
  • damage caused by failure to follow reasonable care instructions;
  • damage resulting from prolonged or repeated exposure to salt water, chlorine, perfumes, lotions, harsh chemicals, cleaning agents, acids or similar substances;
  • damage to pearls or other natural materials caused by chemicals, cosmetics, abrasion, impact or improper storage;
  • natural variations in freshwater pearls or other natural materials;
  • minor changes that do not materially affect the appearance, function or intended use of the jewelry; or
  • warranty claims where post-purchase alteration, modification, repair or other intervention prevents us from reasonably determining whether the claimed condition resulted from a defect in materials or workmanship, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Care and Water Exposure

Our jewelry is designed to be water- and sweat-resistant for everyday wear, but plated jewelry is not permanently immune to wear or changes in appearance.

To help preserve the gold finish, rinse jewelry with fresh water after exposure to salt water, chlorine or intense workouts, then pat dry. Avoid prolonged exposure to perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals, and store jewelry separately in a dry place when not being worn.

Normal exposure to water or sweat in accordance with these care instructions does not by itself invalidate this Limited Warranty.

What We Will Do

If we determine that your jewelry has a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, we will provide a replacement at no charge, subject to applicable law.

Where the same jewelry item is available, we will replace the defective item with the same item.

If the original item is no longer available, we may replace it with a reasonably comparable jewelry item of similar type, materials and retail value, subject to availability.

Replacement jewelry provided under this Limited Warranty will remain covered for the remainder of the original two-year warranty period, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

No cash refund is provided under this Limited Warranty except where required by applicable law.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. your name and original order number or other reasonable proof of purchase;
  2. a description of the issue; and
  3. clear photographs showing the condition of the jewelry.

If the jewelry was received as a gift, you may provide the original purchaser's order number or other reasonable evidence showing that the item was originally purchased from www.hommagestore.com.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to assess the claim.

If physical inspection of the jewelry is necessary, we will provide instructions for returning the item. Please do not send jewelry to us without first receiving return instructions.

For a valid warranty claim, we will provide the applicable warranty remedy in accordance with this Limited Warranty and applicable law.

Shipping and Return of Warranty Items

Where physical inspection is required, we will provide return instructions before the jewelry is sent to us.

For a claim determined to be valid and covered by this Limited Warranty, we will bear reasonable standard shipping costs necessary to return the jewelry to us and to provide the applicable warranty replacement.

If a claim is determined not to be covered by this Limited Warranty, we may contact you regarding available options. Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning an item that is not covered by the warranty. We will inform you of any such cost before taking further action.

Relationship to Returns

This Limited Warranty is separate from our Shipping, Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy.

The availability or expiration of a voluntary return period does not, by itself, determine whether a valid warranty claim exists.

Statutory Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Can I wear it every day?
That’s what it’s made for. Our jewelry is water- and sweat-resistant for everyday wear. After saltwater, chlorine or a sweaty workout, rinse with fresh water and gently pat dry. Avoid prolonged exposure to perfume, lotions and harsh chemicals.

How do I keep its glow?
A little care goes a long way. Gently wipe your piece with a soft cloth and store it separately in a dry place. Give freshwater pearls a little extra care: protect them from cosmetics, chemicals and knocks.

How do I know if it will fit?
You’ll find measurements and extender details, where applicable, in Details & Size above. Compare them with a piece you already love, or use a soft measuring tape to picture the fit. How a piece sits will vary from person to person.

Where do you ship, and is shipping free?
Our jewelry currently ships to US addresses only, with free standard shipping from our US fulfillment center. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. We’ll email you tracking details once your order is on its way.

What if it’s not quite me?
We want your piece to feel right. Eligible jewelry can be returned free within 30 days of delivery, with no restocking fee. It must be unworn, unused and in its original condition, with its original packaging. Start your return, and we’ll provide a prepaid return label once approved.

Is my jewelry covered by a warranty?
Yes—your piece comes with a two-year limited warranty covering manufacturing and workmanship defects, including premature loss of the gold finish caused by those defects under normal use and care. Everyday wear, accidental damage and loss aren’t covered. If something seems wrong, email us with your order number and clear photos. Read the full warranty.
